Fostex has always been highly regarded in the “Full /Wide range” product category. There are always a few that stand out above the others, and the FX is. It looks like there are not so many people that ended up buying the Fostex FX , despite there seems to be a widespread good opinion about. The prefabricated enclosures are constructed out of MDF and have fosetx volume of 0. The speaker cabinets are only lightly damped.

The -3 dB point is about 58 Hz. I have partnered them with my first LM based chipamp in a test setup on a fosrex of MDFwhich you can also see on the picture below.
