I just cannot get over the fury that built within me I really felt for her when I read this scene, to me it was very powerful. Hher he liked it this way. She is a very strong character and the author portrays this well with the words used. How would you hold onto your sanity, your self-esteem, your very soul against someone determined to annihilate all three? Rapist and victim grow to have a sort of “respect” for each other in many ways, even as they are determined to destroy one another. There’s no hearts and flowers and fluffy bits in this story. There was something about the way this was wri I thought that after sleeping b.g.harlej this I would have come to some type of resolution in bdeak head about what or how I feel about this book.


What was the author trying to convey here? Its likely I’ll feel that way for a while. Why don’t I just stop?

The dialogue can get quite heavy at times as there are a lot of psychological ideas discussed between the two characters who are not named. What “Break Her” does is show you the devastation without external influences, no police, no mystery, no whodunnit whydunnit – just the total, utter devastation.

It’s kinda like propaganda, that has a purpose to provoke, to evoke and stay imbeded into the subconsciousness of the public. I am eagerly waiting for whatever comes next! There is a lot of psychological mind games which got a bit too much for me.

I went round and round and back and forth with myself so many times, I b.g.narlen dizzy. Other than the fact that he was hired to rape and break her, we’re left in the dark.

Search for a book to add a reference. In relation to what they look like, their names or who or what they really are, we remain clueless.


It’s been weeks since I finished this book and I’m still trying to digest it. This is not a book about sex, love, lust, etc.

I don’t recommend it for anyone who doesn’t have a strong stomach. There is nothing beautiful to hold on to throughout the story. I think that I would not like that responsibility. We never get any names, descriptions or ages of the main characters, instead the focus is on the actual event on hand. She soon realizes that in order to survive this horrific ordeal that she must outsmart her attacker. The whole situation was completely and utterly out of the ordinary. I have never ever read anything like this For whatever that was worth. On the surface, this intruder has all the advantages: There is only what has to be done.

Break Her made me equal parts desolate and angry, it is an incredibly tough read but will push you to think about the unthinkable. That was frustrating for me.
