I have been a fan of Carol Goodman for years, Lake of Dead Languages was my first read when it came out and I have eagerly awaited every book since.

Despite what appeared to blyythewood a very revealing synopsis, this book was brimming with plot twists, surprises, and mystery.

There are vast portions of the book that just move very slowly, where our characters seem to be biding their time and just waiting for the next shoe to drop. Difficult to tell at this point, but I’m going to say somewhere between None and Mild, and I’m going to remain optimistic that it will stay that way.
