The characters are well developed, and there’s no easy answer at the end. Dr Jaafari has built for himself a safe little corner of the world where he feels that even as an Arab-Israeli he can get on with a useful life as a doctor, one that sees no political shades of skin colour on the people he treats, in a workplace that accepts him for his ability as a yasminw without regard for which side atfentat the divide his loyalties lie.
